Job summary

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the Laboratory team. The role supports Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank services in a 24/7 CAP-certified lab.

The team values quality, safety, and professional growth, offering competitive pay and sign-on bonus eligibility. The position includes evening/night shifts with occasional weekend coverage and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical/Life Science or related field.
• No prior supervisor experience required.
• ASCP, AMT, AAB or equivalent or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Reports and maintains patient test results with timely documentation.
• Documents testing problems and initiates corrective action.
• Performs quality controls and troubleshoots instrumentation as needed.
• Operates instrumentation to deliver accurate lab results; handles specimen collection and processing.
• Trains new personnel in methods and equipment for the assigned area.
