EvergreenHealth is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard patients, visitors, staff and property across multiple EvergreenHealth locations, with Monroe as the primary site. The role involves active duty, patrols, traffic control, and incident response in a healthcare setting.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, at least one year in security or related training/experience, and a valid Washington state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year security or related training/experience.
• Current Washington State Driver's license.
• 1 year experience in Hospital Security, Police, Military Police, Correctional Officer or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for patients, visitors, staff and property; enforce rules and respond to requests.
• Conduct preventative security and safety patrols across buildings and grounds.
• Direct vehicular traffic and manage emergency vehicle lanes.
• Document incidents and report discrepancies to management.
• Stay updated with department policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
