Job summary

Cygnus Manufacturing Company in Saxonburg, PA, is seeking an Off-Shift CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and adjust CNC centers. You will produce components that meet exacting quality and tolerance requirements on afternoon/night shifts, contributing to maximum production capacity.

The role requires CNC machining experience or a Vo-Tech/technical school background, plus knowledge of G-code and measurement techniques.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with Vo-Tech or technical school background, or prior CNC experience.
• Journeyperson or NIMS papers preferred.
• Knowledge of machining techniques and CNC machine tool procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and adjust CNC mills and lathes per drawings to meet tolerances.
• Interpret drawings and determine speeds, feeds, and tooling needs.
• Conduct in-process measurements and maintain SPC compliance.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and perform routine maintenance.
