Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Austin, TX seeks a Front Office Night Audit Associate to perform daily audit functions for the hotel’s front office and outlets. You will verify room and tax postings, correct errors, and ensure all charges are posted accurately and promptly.

You’ll back up the front office computer system and night audit program, oversee front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, payments, and reservations, and follow company accounting and credit policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk operations preferred.
• Ability to handle payments and accounting tasks accurately.
• Familiarity with PBX and reservation systems beneficial.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all daily audit functions for front office and each outlet of the hotel.
• Review room and tax postings for accuracy and promptly correct errors; ensure charges are posted accurately and timely.
• Complete back-up of front office computer system and night audit program daily (if applicable).
• Complete the rebuild of the front office system, reservation and other related computer maintenance (if applicable).
• Understand, know and follow management company's accounting and credit policies and procedures.
• Responsible for all front desk functions including check-ins, check-outs, payments, reservations, PBX operation, answering calls within 3 rings, etc. Guests should be treated promptly, warmly, courteously and professionally. Accurate and clear directions to room locations should be given.
