Job summary

The Barnes Foundation is seeking a Museum Facilities Specialist for the Evening Shift to help maintain the building and grounds, ensuring a first-class experience for visitors and staff. You will perform cleaning, maintenance, and event setup under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, using ladders and equipment to keep the campus in pristine condition.

Qualifications

• High School Education or Equivalent
• Experience maintaining first-class buildings or facilities
• Experience in hospitality or museum setting preferred
• Ability to read and understand chemical SDS sheets
• Ability to complete customer service training and safety trainings (OSHA ladder and lift)

Responsibilities

• Assist visitors, guests and staff with highest level of customer service.
• Resolve problems in a helpful, polite, and accurate manner.
• Read and understand daily work orders and assignments.
• Maintain appearance and order of the building and grounds.
• Move and arrange furniture and set up events as needed.
