Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Springfield, MA is seeking an MRI Technologist for a Temporary/PRN Evening shift. You will operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, focusing on patient-centered care and safety while supporting the radiology team.

Responsibilities include screening and preparing patients, executing routine and advanced MRI exams, following physician orders, maintaining RIS records, and keeping equipment clean and compliant with ACR standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and position patients for scans.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures under supervision as needed.
• Adjust MRI parameters and follow physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Comply with ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
