Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA seeks an MRI Technologist for a full-time, evening-shift role. You will perform MRI exams, ensure safety, maintain supplies, and communicate procedures to patients, while completing department documentation.

Qualifications include MRI education or radiologic technology program completion, CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT/ARMRIT certification, and BLS. One year radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of MRI school or MRI certificate program.
• Graduate of a 24-month radiologic technology program in lieu of experience.
• CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT/ARMRIT required; ARRT MR advanced or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations while ensuring safety and integrity of MRI area.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory for exams.
• Explain examinations and procedures to patients; complete departmental documentation.
