Job summary

Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring an MRI Technologist for a full-time, evening/swing shift. The role includes administering MRI exams, contrast, safety screening, and documentation with a focus on quality imaging.

Qualifications include a 24‑month radiologic program, MRI certificate preferred, CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT MR or ARMRIT, and BLS. Six months MR experience is strongly preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 24 month radiologic technology program is required.
• Completion of MRI school or MRI certificate is preferred.
• CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Six months MR experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality MRI imaging to patients under supervision.
• Administer MRI contrast per protocol and ensure safety.
• Review patient records for accuracy and implants using vendor resources.
• Explain procedures to patients and complete documentation.
