Sentara Advanced Imaging Center at Sentara BelleHarbour in Suffolk, VA is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Part Time Weekend Evening Shift. A $15K sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. Hours are Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

The role includes performing general MRI exams, ensuring safety, maintaining supplies, and documenting procedures. Certification in CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT/ARMRIT is required, with ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT to be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Completion of MRI school/certificate program is preferred.
• Certification: CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT is required.
• ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire is required.
• 1 year experience as Rad Tech; 6 months MR experience preferred.
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI examinations and ensure MRI safety.
• Explain examination and procedure to patients and document results.
• Maintain inventory and prepare supplies for examinations.
• Provide quality MRI imaging under supervision and adhere to protocols.
• Administer MRI contrast per protocol and review safety screening forms.
