Job summary

The Advanced Imaging Center at Sentara Health seeks an MRI Technologist to provide high-quality MRI imaging under supervision in Chesapeake, VA. You will administer contrast per protocol, review safety forms, and liaise with physicians and care staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort.

Ideal candidates hold ALD Radiologic Sciences or trade school certification, ARRT MR licensure, and at least 1 year of x-ray experience to cross-train.

Qualifications

• ALD Radiologic Sciences or trade school certification.
• ARRT MR certification/licensure.
• 1 year of x-ray experience to cross-train.
• Ability to administer MRI contrast per protocol.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality MRI imaging to patients under physician direction.
• Administer MRI contrast per protocol and ensure safety.
• Review patient safety screening forms before scanning.
• Maintain patient records and departmental documentation.
• Explain procedures to patients and coordinate with care team.
