Job summary

HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join our lab team. This position is responsible for conducting a variety of tests on patient samples to detect the presence or absence of health conditions.

The successful candidate will work in the Lab Department at Effingham, IL, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week on the Evening shift. A $29.55–$44.32 hourly pay range applies, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and compensation based

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological science, chemistry and mathematics.
• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited MLS/MT program or ASCP certification with 2 years full-time lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of tests on patient samples (blood, body fluids, cells, tissue) to detect health conditions.
