Job summary

Dartmouth Health is hiring for a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist in New Hampshire. You will perform diverse diagnostic tests in a high-volume, automated lab and cross-train between Chemistry and Hematology to support inpatient and outpatient testing.

The role offers a 40-hour evening schedule (Mon-Fri 2:00 pm–10:30 pm) with weekends/holidays rotation and a 15% weekend shift differential.

Qualifications

• Two paths: AS degree with 4+ years or BS with 2+ years of lab experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant technical laboratory experience required.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic tests in the clinical lab to support patient care.
• Troubleshoot problems and ensure results are reported only when systems function properly.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment per procedures and manufacturers' guidance.
• Orient and train new laboratory staff and MLS/MLT students.
• Participate in continuing education programs and comply with safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
