Job summary

Dartmouth Health's Laboratory Medicine department seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist IV to perform and supervise a broad range of diagnostic tests in a high-volume Clinical Laboratory. The role includes quality control, equipment maintenance, training, and process improvement within a 40-hour day shift.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CL experience or a BS with 3 years, and Must meet licensure/certification requirements.

Qualifications

• AS degree and minimum 5 years of Clinical Laboratory experience, or a Bachelor of Science Degree and a minimum of 3 years of Clinical Laboratory experience.
• 3-5 years of experience required.
• Ability to work independently, adhere to deadlines, and manage changing volumes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform a variety of laboratory tests in a timely manner, yielding accurate and precise results with a low error rate.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems independently; ensure patient results are accurate before reporting.
• Assist in development of training tools and teaching materials for staff.
