Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Millwright for our client in Columbia County. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical systems, installing equipment, and performing preventive maintenance. Strong reading of blueprints and PLC knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; vocational training highly preferred.
• Five years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting at journeyman level in Industrial Plant Maintenance; five to seven years preferred.
• Must be familiar with state licensing scope for Millwright and Electrical work.
• LME card preferred; PLC knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with malfunctioning mechanical/electrical equipment and perform repairs.
• Perform minor building plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and assist outage planning.
• Install and set up manufacturing equipment; lead installation projects.
