Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Richmond, VA seeks a Residential Treatment Team member to support youth with acute emotional and behavioral needs. You will implement treatment protocols, lead daily activities, and maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu.

Responsibilities include coaching staff in Collaborative Problem Solving, supervising CPS, de-escalation and restraint techniques, responding to crises, and documenting interventions and daily logs; evening/weekend duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least one year in a children’s residential setting or 5 years in mental health equivalent.
• Experience coaching staff and supervising teams in a behavioral health context.
• Familiarity with Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) and crisis response.

Responsibilities

• Operational support and coaching of Support Coaches.
• Demonstrate proficiency and leadership in CPS to assist staff with interventions.
• Coach de-escalation and restraint techniques through demonstration and training.
• Create proactive interventions by reviewing shift notes and prior information.
• Respond to crises as directed and document appropriately.
• Provide supervision to youth in close proximity and engage in program life activities.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and model professional conduct.
• Document daily logs, DTILs and SIRs accurately.
