Certified Group in Utah is seeking a Microbiology Technician to join a network of labs serving food, beverage, cosmetics, OTC, and dietary supplement industries. You will prepare samples for analytical and microbiological testing and apply approved techniques in a regulated environment.

The role emphasizes aseptic technique, quality control, and maintaining accurate records, while working on the afternoon shift 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Life Science or two years of lab experience preferred.
• Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in a food testing lab.
• Willingness to travel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries.
• Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload.
• Maintain media and reagents for daily microbiological testing.
• Inventory and report expendable supplies and materials.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and clean work areas.
• Record data accurately and maintain QA programs and records.
• Adhere to FSNS policies to meet customer requirements.
