Certified Group is seeking a Microbiology Technician to join our team in Logan, UT. Prepare samples for microbiological testing of food products and environments, maintaining aseptic technique and accurate records.

The role emphasizes safety and quality in a fast-paced lab. The position runs Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm, with the opportunity to contribute to a network of ISO-accredited laboratories serving the food, dietary supplement, cosmetics, and related industries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in Life Science or two years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food testing laboratory concepts is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for indicator organisms and pathogens.
• Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload.
• Maintain media and reagents for daily testing.
• Inventory and report expendables needed for testing.
• Maintain accurate records and safe lab conditions.
