Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Mental Health Technician for part-time nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 24 hours/week, every other weekend). The technician will assist with admissions, monitor patients for agitation, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting changes to the RN, and supporting daily living activities.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prefer a minimum of two years of college in psychology, social work, mental health, or related health fields.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers under RN supervision.
• Monitor patients for verbal and non-verbal cues and de-escalate when needed.
• Provide activities of daily living support while maintaining safety and a therapeutic environment.
• Communicate patient issues and changes to the Registered Nurse.
