Job summary

Progressive PHP of Seaside Health System is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Technician to support patients with daily tasks and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and assist with patient transport.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and strong interpersonal skills. The shift runs from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM, and the role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced setting within the Seaside

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work under close supervision with distractions/demanding patients and to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all departments.
• Knowledge of basic first aid required.
• Knowledge of program policies and procedures regarding infection control and sanitation.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to assist patients with daily needs and safety.
• Participate as a team member in implementing the treatment plan.
• Provide driving/transportation and patient escort.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
