Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) Sierra Vista Hospital is seeking Mental Health Technicians for the Nursing Department. This full-time MHT role supports a treatment team, delivering continuous patient care under RN supervision and participating in community group activities.

The position favors candidates with a healthcare-related Bachelor's degree and CPR certification. The shift is PM (3:00 PM–11:30 PM).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• 6 months of related experience in psychiatric patient care preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Successful completion of behavioral management training including de-escalation and restraint.
• May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling for patients from adolescent to geriatrics.
• Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Provide treatment activities including conducting community groups.
