Job summary

Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA is seeking Mental Health Technicians for full‑time evening shifts (3pm–11:30pm) in our Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Hospitalization and Residential Treatment Program for youth with autism spectrum disorder. The role requires weekend commitment (every other weekend) and offers a full‑time benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Option 1: Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a human services area (e.g., psychology, sociology, counseling, education).
• Option 2: High School diploma/GED plus 2 years in a direct-contact human services role.
• Must be compassionate and able to work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
• Respiratory Fit Testing required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu following schedules and behavior plans.
• Use crisis intervention and de-escalation skills as needed.
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately.
• Lead therapeutic group sessions.
• Perform Q15 observation rounds.
• Record patient vital signs.
• Assist nurses with head-to-toe assessments.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living when needed.
