Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations in Brockton seeks a Mental Health Specialist (2nd Shift) to support the Adult Community Crisis Stabilization and Dual CSS programs. The role involves supervising patients, facilitating groups, documenting care, and responding to emergencies in a busy behavioral health setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, strong communication, and willingness to obtain CPR and de‑escalation

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; Bachelor's in health/human services preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or related field preferred.
• Peer Certification or Recovery Coach training preferred, or willingness to complete within six months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Facilitate groups and complete timely documentation.
• Monitor and supervise patients during meals, groups, and activities; manage outside privileges.
• Provide direct supervision to support safety and treatment goals.
• Assist with medical and psychiatric situations, including safety checks and emergency response.
