Job summary

Lake Park Center in Illinois is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional (MHP) to join our specialized facility, providing psychosocial support to residents and coordinating community services.

You will work 2:30pm–11pm with rotating weekends, deliver direct social services, foster a therapeutic environment, and collaborate with staff to maximize residents' independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Social Services preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, social work or social services related field.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention) certification preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social services to residents and families.
• Assist residents and families to access facility and community resources.
• Strengthen communications among residents, families and staff.
• Help maintain a therapeutic environment for optimal quality of life and independence.
• Promote facility–community interaction and linkages with community resources.
