Hampton Behavioral Health Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Mental Health Associate for an evening shift in Westampton, NJ. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, supporting activity of daily living, and maintaining a therapeutic milieu.

Ideal candidates hold a health-related BS or equivalent psychiatric experience, with CPR/First Aid and de-escalation training. The position requires leadership in a compassionate but firm care plan and strong documentation

Competenze

• B.S. in health related field with one year of psychiatric experience, preferably in an inpatient setting; or two years of psychiatric experience with continuing education in mental health.
• Psychiatric inpatient experience for Adults, Adolescents and Dual populations preferred.
• Must maintain CPR and First Aid, Verbal De-escalation and Handle with Care Certifications provided by the Hospital.

Mansioni

• Direct patient care under supervision of RN and Clinical/Nursing Administration.
• Lead patients with compassion yet firmness in treatment plans, assist with activities of daily living and ensure safety.
• Escort and assemble patients for meals, programs, court, clinics and other activities; meet daily with assigned patients and report progress.
