Job summary

The successful candidate will monitor temperatures, follow set casting schedules, and maintain accurate metal inventories while communicating with leads to prevent production issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; able to read technique cards and instructions.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic math calculations.
• Ability to read measuring devices and fixtures.
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Follow housekeeping and safety practices to maintain a safe work environment.
• Controls melting and deoxidizing processes per procedures.
• Regulates furnace and molten metal temperatures.
• Follows mold casting schedules and checks alloy heat number.
• Maintains accurate metal inventory and records.
• Performs recordkeeping and safety compliance tasks.
