Job summary

Oakmont of El Dorado Hills seeks a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in medication administration for residents. This role includes direct personal care, encouraging participation in activities, and collaboration with housekeeping and maintenance to support resident well-being.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, coordinating with pharmacy and physicians, tracking changes, and maintaining records. Must meet state requirements, be 18+, and pass health and background checks.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medication in a RCFE or similar setting.
• State regulations may require completion of training/certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident records.
• Maintain safe environment and encourage teamwork.
