Oakmont of El Dorado Hills is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to supervise and assist with medication administration for residents, aligning with nursing standards and company values. The role also involves providing personal care and supporting activities in a team-oriented setting.

The position offers part-time AM hours (Fri–Sun) with competitive pay and benefits. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; LVN is a plus, and a background check with health screening is required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medication in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• Completion of training/certification may be required per state regulation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Ability to interact effectively with staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required.
• Vaccination/ PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
