Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Simi Valley is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents with medication administration and daily care. The role collaborates with nursing, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure resident safety and well-being.

The position emphasizes accurate medication handling, coordination with pharmacies, and adherence to nursing standards, policies, and procedures across Ivy Living communities.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience assisting with medication in RCFE or similar setting.
• Must pass background check and health screenings including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff across departments.
