Job summary

Country Meadows in Allentown, PA is seeking a Medication Technician to manage medications for residents in a home-like setting and build relationships that support health and well-being.

Role offers training to advance and a comprehensive benefits package. Pay starts at $18.50–$21/hour with potential for more based on experience; both part-time and full-time shifts are available with every other weekend off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Up-to-date medication certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and mobility requirements.
• Respect for patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, getting to know them personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their day-to-day behavior and outlook and ensuring their comfort and overall positive well-being.
• Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents' independence.
• Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.
• Observe and document residents' health status and respond to changes.
• Respect patient rights and maintain confidentiality.
