Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a Medication Technician to engage with residents, administer medications, and support their health in a home-like setting. You will build relationships with residents while ensuring comfort and well-being during daily care.

We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with shifts 3:00pm–11:00pm and every other weekend off, plus a comprehensive benefits package and pay increases based on experience.

Qualifications

• Direct-care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Respect for patient rights and confidentiality.
• Medication certification requirements preferred.
• Ability to understand and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, getting to know them personally while administering medications and treatments, observing day-to-day behavior and overall well-being.
• Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents’ independence.
• Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.
