Job summary

Homewood Retirement Centers in Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Medication Technician for evening shifts to assist residents with activities of daily living, administer medications as ordered, and document per physician instructions under licensed staff supervision.

The role requires Med Tech certification within 120 days and prior experience preferred; CPR and First Aid are welcomed; benefits include PTO and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to perform sequential tasks.
• Motivation and desire to work with geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living under licensed staff supervision.
• Administer and record medications as ordered by the physician, following certification regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with policies.
• Assist with personal hygiene care and daily living tasks as needed.
• Support resident nutrition during meals and snacks.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Head Nurse.
