Job summary

The Valley Health System - Ridgewood laboratory is seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technologist to independently perform and report clinical findings in accordance with applicable regulatory standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and MT certification (ASCP/AMT) with at least one year of clinical lab experience, plus licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and MT certification at MT level (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) or Bachelor's degree with categorical certification.
• 1 year clinical laboratory experience.
• Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist with applicable licensure or certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform and report laboratory findings.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations (FDA, CAP, AABB, OSHA, CLIA, JCAHO).
• Maintain quality and patient safety standards; contribute to training.
