Job summary

Valley Health System–Ridgewood is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to independently perform and report laboratory findings in accordance with FDA, CAP, AABB, OSHA, CLIA and JCAHO regulations to support quality patient care.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with MT certification (ASCP/AMT or equivalent) or a BA with categorical certification (C/H/I/BB/M ASCP), 1 year of clinical lab experience, and strong analytical, organizational and communication skills. Evening shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and certification at the Medical Technologist level (ASCP, AMT, or Equivalent) or Bachelor's degree and categorical certification consistent with the work performed: C, H, I, BB, M (ASCP).
• 1 year clinical laboratory experience.
