Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for the Evening shift at our Boston campus. The role focuses on specimen processing, test performance, and reporting results for waived and non-waived tests under CLIA guidelines.

Starting pay is $33/hour and may vary with experience, education, and certifications. A generous sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for eligible candidates and will be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or Laboratory Sciences required.
• Lab experience 0–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and perform tests as defined by CLIA.
• Operate and maintain equipment per QC policies and document results.
• Ensure compliance with quality control and corrective action procedures.
• Identify and report issues affecting test performance or results.
