MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Charlotte, NC. The role involves driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related items on a schedule that runs Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

A shift differential of $1.00/hr applies after 10 PM, with routes covering Huntersville, Cornelius, and Mooresville. The position requires COVID vaccination as a condition depending on location and mandates, a clean driving

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• COVID vaccination may be required depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload company vehicles and maintain a clean, orderly vehicle.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Route duties vary by client and business needs and may change.
