MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Knightdale, NC. Compensated at $17.00/hour, full-time with a 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday.

The role involves long-distance driving within North Carolina and handling items weighing 30–50 lbs. You will work with a healthcare logistics team to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials while ensuring safety, professionalism, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and using handheld devices.
• Ability to follow procedures closely and determine efficient routing.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays and hospital supplies in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a handheld scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving and courteous behavior on the road.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
