Job Position Description:

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customer's building by performing the following duties:

Position: 5 days a week, Mon-Fri, 3 hours a day, start between 4:30 PM and no later than 6:00 PM, $15/hr, includes downtown parking spot. Additional duties may be assigned:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
• Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving chairs and equipment on wheels
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required
• Clean all common areas including kitchen/break room, lobby/hallway, exam room, offices, bathrooms
• Place safety hazard signs such as “wet floor” signs as necessary
• 1 year experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required
• On-the-job training will be provided for those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Experience in professional janitorial services, office complexes, hotels, hospitals, or schools is a plus
• Must be flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task effectively
• Contribute positively to the work environment with a pleasant attitude, be dependable, punctual, and in uniform
• Respect and understand co-workers and customers
• Must be able to communicate in English

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses
