Pima Medical Institute is seeking a Medical Assistant Instructor to join the Seattle campus on a part-time evening schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM). The role involves leading classroom lectures, hands-on lab demonstrations, and mentoring future healthcare professionals at an on-site Seattle location.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, 3 years of MA experience or equivalent training, CMA/RMA certification, and WA MA-C credential as

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program recognized by USDE or CHEA.
Three years of full-time occupational experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent.
National certification such as CMA or RMA.
Active Washington MA-C credential or license as required by state law.

Responsibilities

Deliver lesson plans across program modules using varied teaching techniques.
Lead lectures, supervise clinical labs, and ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
Evaluate and grade coursework, check-offs, and assignments within 72 hours.
Provide student advising and maintain office hours for academic support.
