Job summary

Premise Health in Swiftwater, PA seeks a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support client employees at our Health Center. The role offers a three-day workweek and 30 hours weekly, with shifts Mon, Wed, Thu from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

You will interview patients, take vital signs, maintain records, and assist with front desk tasks while supporting a collaborative care team in a workplace health setting. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization or accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed and passed.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
• State Lab Certificate (NV only).
• CMA certification from recognized certifying bodies (SC only).

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height).
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Medication administration including injections, performs lab tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted.
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at front desk, schedules appointments, follow-ups and orders supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
