Job summary

Sub-Zero Group in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Materials/Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift (1:30 PM–10:30 PM) to oversee incoming materials and the material handling staff, ensuring accurate inventory and efficient operations. The role emphasizes safety, Lean manufacturing, 6S activities, and collaboration with maintenance for equipment like forklifts and dock systems.

A bachelor’s degree and prior manufacturing experience are required; a strong focus on communication and process improvements

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience in a high-end consumer products environment.
• Proficient in Lean Manufacturing concepts, quality measurements, and OSHA requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise incoming materials and the material handling staff.
• Maintain orderly product arrangement for receiving, stocking, shipping, and pickup.
• Safeguard inventory and assets through controls and system processes.
• Plan manpower to cover absences or special needs.
• Prepare receiving and shipping documentation as needed.
• Promote safety through PPE and awareness of hazardous conditions.
