Job summary

Baxter in Marion, North Carolina is seeking a Material Handler, Packing for the 2:45pm–10:45pm shift. You will transport, inspect, and package IV therapies and other sterile products in a cleanroom, supporting timely order fulfillment and patient safety.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of manufacturing experience, and the PIT and Inspector Certifications. The role offers comprehensive benefits from day one, training, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic English written and oral communication to interact with team members.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and use computers.
• PIT Operator Certification and Inspector Certification are required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Transport sterilized bags using a powered industrial truck and prepare the packing line.
• Inspect and change out batteries on the powered industrial truck as needed.
• Keep the unloader stocked and ensure continuous flow of trucks.
• Operate and maintain automated packaging equipment and carton erector per BOM.
• Visually inspect bags for defects and log any issues.
• Unload and package bags manually when required; assist line clearance.
• Notify supervisor of safety/quality issues and maintain 6S clean work area.
• Adhere to cGMP and SOPs in daily tasks.
