Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Material Handler to assemble materials for customer orders, receive products, and uphold safety and quality standards in the warehouse. This role operates on a schedule of M-F, 2:30pm-11:30pm, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of warehouse experience, with fluency in English and basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years’ experience as warehouse clerk preferred.
• Fluency in English required (verbal and written).
• Basic computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move controls, devices, and levers to operate forklifts and transfer materials.
• Receive, sort, and place incoming products in correct warehouse locations.
• Document and record customer returns in the system.
• Record quantities shipped or received in the Victory inventory system.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Assist with inventory counts and safety compliance.
