Job summary

JobSquad is seeking a Material Handler to join our Joliet, IL operations. You will maintain appropriate levels of prepared dunnage for production packaging, ensure items are properly labelled and recorded, monitor totes and pallets, and support the crew to keep the production area organized and safe.

Must have forklift experience, warehouse knowledge, and good English reading/writing skills. You will perform basic math, lift up to 75 pounds, and work 12-hour shifts (7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM) with

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Experience with warehouse management systems or processes.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Performs basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains appropriate levels of prepared Dunnage for production packaging.
• Ensures product is properly labelled and recorded.
• Monitors production as totes or pallets fill, removing, closing, ticketing and placing in warehouse.
• Supports crew where needed.
• Keeps production area organized and clean.
• May load raw material (resin, preforms, etc.).
• Pulls stock, fills out shipping manifest and loads trailers for deliveries.
• Disposes of scrap and recycling – may utilize bailers or grinders.
• Comply with safety policies, GMP, and Global Food Safety practices.
• May perform rework/sorting duties.
