Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Two years of shipping and/or receiving experience.
• Two years of forklift experience required.
• Proficient math skills, including basic operations with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Proficient computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to the department by assigning daily work and setting priorities.
• Schedule inbound loads of customer products and production materials and coordinate outbound shipments.
• Verify counts, quantities, and descriptions of products and materials shipped and received; ensure safe handling.
• Process shipping, receiving, production issue, transfer, and return transactions accurately using the inventory system.
• Facilitate replenishment of products to production lines and perform cycle counts.
• Interact with customers and vendors; liaise between warehouse and other departments.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment and comply with safety policies.
