Job summary

Curry Warehouses in West Virginia is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift. The role involves operating forklifts, stretching wrapping machines, cycle counts, and palletizing bags to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and shipping of customer materials.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience (2 years preferred), a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. On-the-job training for WMS and forklift certification is provided.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification (on the job) available.
• 2 years forklift experience in a distribution warehouse preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrapping machine.
• Pull and prepare product samples.
• Conduct cycle counts as required.
• Operate deblocking equipment.
• Tear down equipment for cleaning.
• Operate a valve-fill bagging machine.
• Palletize bags and weigh/document packages.
• Receive, store, stage, and ship customer materials using forklift and pallet jacks.
• Record damage and maintain accurate documentation with photos.
