Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is hiring a Production Associate 2 to support windows and doors assembly operations. You will work to Safely produce quality products, minimize waste, and deliver on time by coordinating material flow in the plant.

You will read job instructions, operate tools, follow PPE requirements, and participate in training and continuous improvement. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adapting to hot/cold environments.

Qualifications

• Basic reading of numbers and words for work instructions.
• Operate power tools safely and follow PPE requirements.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols/work instructions.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow standard work and reference instructions.
• Communicate about defects and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assist in assembling products.
• Support employee engagement activities.
• Maintain defined clean-up times and safe work practices.
• Follow rate as defined by customer demand and operations.
• Help improve standard work to improve quality and reduce waste.
• Identify and communicate problems; assist training of coworkers.
• Support a respectful workplace and cross-train across departments.
• Perform other plant duties as directed by supervision.
