Job summary

ROCKWOOL is seeking a Technical Operator for our Byhalia, MS manufacturing facility (4594 Cayce Road). The shift runs 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

You will operate production equipment, monitor settings, record production and quality data, and perform routine adjustments to keep output within safety and quality standards. Qualifications

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely in an industrial setting.
• Follow written work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Monitor controls and machine conditions and respond to changes.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and know when to escalate equipment issues.
• Complete production, quality, and safety records accurately.
• Support production schedules by performing start-up, shutdown, and changeover tasks on-site.
• Safely handle materials and follow safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment per SOPs and safety procedures.
• Monitor settings and conditions to maintain quality.
• Inspect materials and finished product, record data.
• Make routine adjustments to maintain stable, efficient operation.
• Identify equipment or process issues early and escalate promptly.
• Complete start-up, shutdown and changeover activities.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe for daily operation.
