Job summary

WellStar in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography proficiency to join the evening shift. You will set up equipment, position patients, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, and assist with diverse modalities as needed, while maintaining patient privacy and comfort.

Required include Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT Mammography and Radiography certifications, BLS, and at least one year in Mammography.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Excellent communication with physicians, patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical history and perform exams per department procedures.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct use of left/right markers.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images with appropriate technique.
• Respond to emergencies and communicate findings clearly.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control policies.
