WellStar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography to join the Evening shift in our diagnostics department. You will set up equipment, position patients, obtain high quality images, and adhere to safety and privacy standards while providing compassionate patient care.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT Mammography and Radiography credentials, a year of experience in mammography, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifikationen

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Certification requirements must be met prior to hire.
• Ability to perform radiographic exams with quality imaging.

Aufgaben

• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindications.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct markers.
• Review images for quality and release to physicians.
• Respond to emergencies and use critical thinking.
• Assist other technologists in modalities as needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort during exams.
• Adhere to Pre-Procedure Verification and Time-Out processes.
