Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking a Skilled Crafts and Trade Assistant 2 to maintain and repair mechanical equipment. The role runs 11:00am to 7:30pm and pays $20.25 per hour. You must be eligible to work in the United States, ASU will not sponsor for this position.

The department supports Parking and Transportation Services across campuses in Tempe. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance, use power and hand tools safely, and keep detailed equipment records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled crafts or trade work.
• Experience maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains or repairs mechanical equipment such as custodial equipment, parking mechanisms, or bowling equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
• Maintains files and records on equipment.
• Drives ASU leased, owned or rented vehicles and carts to various locations to perform work.
